A Day with Showtime

An Immersive Band Experience at Howard University

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

A Day with Showtime is a full-day, on-campus experience designed to introduce middle, high school students, and our newly accepted Bison to the culture, tradition, and excitement of collegiate band life at Howard University.

The Showtime Marching Band includes the Dazzlin' Diamonds (the University’s baton twirlers), Flashy Flags, Ooh La La! Dancers, and the Thunder Machine (the percussion section). Registrants will be provided with sheet music and choreography in advance and will rehearse and perform alongside members of these ensembles throughout the day.

During the experience, participants will explore Howard’s campus and culminate their visit with a live performance during the Spring Blue & White Football Game at Greene Stadium.

This experience is designed to be educational, inspirational, and community-building for young musicians across the region.

REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 1, 2026.
