Annual BFA Showcase
Presenting the BFA Acting and BFA Musical Theatre Seniors
From Student to Professional
Each spring, the Howard University Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts Department of Theatre Arts presents the BFA Acting and Musical Theatre Senior Showcase, a culminating performance that introduces our graduating artists to the professional stage.
The showcase features seniors completing their Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Acting and Musical Theatre, marking the transition from rigorous conservatory training to professional careers in theatre, film, and television. Presented in both New York City and Washington, DC, the program celebrates the talent, discipline, and creative voices emerging from Howard’s nationally respected theatre program.
Over four years of intensive study, these artists have developed the craft, technique, and artistic perspective required to meet the demands of the performing arts industry. The showcase offers them an opportunity to present their work to agents, managers, casting directors, producers, and other industry professionals, while sharing their artistry with the broader community.
For many graduates, this moment represents the beginning of lasting professional relationships, auditions, and creative collaborations.
We invite you to join the Department of Theatre Arts and the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts in celebrating the next generation of Howard-trained artists.
