“Works In Progress” Student Exhibition 2024
Howard University’s Department of Art and Howard University Gallery of Art announces the opening of “Works In Progress” a juried art student exhibition February 9 to February 19, 2024.
(Washington, DC) — Howard University’s Department of Art and Howard University Gallery of Art are proud to present “Works In Progress,” a juried art exhibition featuring the works of eight talented students from the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts.
The exhibition will showcase the artistic prowess of Hailey Cartwright, Jasmyn Marsh, Lamiya "Msanii" Murray, Siah Prince, Jazzlyn Arielle Rainey, Raj Ruffin, Marissa Turley, Destiny Wesley, and Jada Williams. Their diverse and captivating artworks will be on display from February 9 to February 19, 2024, at the Howard University Gallery of Art.
“Works In Progress,” is organized by the Department of Art, Howard University Gallery of Art, and the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts at Howard University, Washington DC.
The jurors for this exhibition include Nicola Charles, Director of 11:Eleven Gallery; Adrian Ferguson, Director of Art of Noize; and Timothy Brown, Director of IA&A at Hillyer. Their expertise and discerning eye will ensure an exceptional selection of artworks.
The opening reception will take place on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Howard University Gallery of Art, located at Howard University’s Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts, 2455 6th St NW, Washington, DC 20059. This event promises to be a celebration of creativity and talent.
