Summer Arts at Howard University

SUMMER ARTS AT HOWARD UNIVERSITY returns for students age 11 - 17 for Summer 2024, during the month of June!

Creativity, innovation, and self-expression are the main objectives of the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts Summer Arts Program. Through a variety of media, students are able to strengthen existing skills and explore new ones with qualified instructors. Our talented arts faculty and staff encourages everyone to explore their skills in the Fine and Performing Arts.

Looking for a fun, immersive and interactive summer experience that won't break the bank? Summer Arts at Howard University offers a week of sessions in Acting, Choir, African Dance, Jazz Voice, Photography/Videography, Band/Orchestra, and Song Writing, and Lunch is included (students with extreme dietary restrictions are advised to provide their own lunch each day). Students participate with trained arts professionals and Howard University Faculty and Staff throughout the week!

Regular program hours: 9am - 4pm

  • Before Care: 8:00am - 9:00am
  • After Care: 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Fee:

$350 (two or more in a household)

$400 (includes $25 registration fee)

$425 (includes before OR aftercare)

$450 (includes before AND aftercare)


Refund Policy: All Summer Arts payments are non-refundable.
