Alumni are the heart of everything and we are grateful for those who offer their time, talent and resources to HU. We see the impact you’ve made on the local, national, and international scenes; now is the right time for you to come back and connect with other alumni and the University. As the reestablishment of the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts continues, we appeal to YOU, our “Stars,” to connect – Connect – CONNECT . . . with your alma mater!

Our goal is to build a new constituency of proactive alumni and “pre-alumni” (current Howard University students) as friends, advocates, and contributors to Howard University. To fulfill this objective, we desire to engage alumni in a wide range of programs that include:

  • Reunion activities
  • Social, cultural and athletic events
  • College of Fine Arts master classes, seminars, and workshop series
  • Recruitment activities
  • Networking opportunities for students and alumni to build relationships to bond with one other and their alma mater
  • Official University alumni volunteer organization involvement, Homecoming, Special Events, and other fund-raising programs

"30 years in the making": Actor Anthony Anderson graduates from Howard University

Actor Anthony Anderson has fulfilled a dream 30 years in the making – graduating from Howard University. The 51-year-old received a bachelor of fine arts degree from the historically black university last week. "To quote Biggie, 'IT WAS ALL A DREAM!'
