Through artist residencies, guest lectures, initiatives, workshops, performances, master classes, exhibitions, concert series, and other programs that bring visiting artists to the College, students are given exceptional creative opportunities to work with and learn from distinguished professionals and scholars.

Disney Storytellers Fund Project

The Walt Disney Company Announces The Disney Storytellers Fund At Howard University To Support The Next Generation Of Black Storytellers. The Disney Storytellers Fund at Howard University will provide stipends over a five-year period for student projects focused on storytelling across a variety of media including animation, digital design, gaming, journalism, live action, performing arts, product design, visual design, virtual reality and more. Disney will also provide access to speakers, mentors and internships to students in the program to spark interest in these fields and help them build the skills necessary for a future career in entertainment.

Take Care of Yourself: Health Passion Life

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF: HEALTH PASSION LIFE funded by the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation will provide students of the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts with two months support from clinical practitioners with intentional focus placed on social-emotional health and wellness. The program’s intention is to help students and faculty/staff better identify and articulate their challenges and to develop and implement strategies that will best assist them perform at an optimal level personally and professionally.
