Venues and Operations
The Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts offers a wide range of theater and studio facilities, including performance spaces and rehearsal rooms. Priority access is reserved for students in art, dance, theatre arts, and music, with additional availability for other disciplines that use performance as a tool to advance undergraduate and graduate learning, research, and community engagement.
The Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts Events and Operations (E&O) team provides year-round support to an array of cultural, academic, and artistic offerings presented by university departments, student groups, the surrounding community and local, regional and international artists. We deliver exceptional event experiences, optimize facilities and resources, and create meaningful opportunities that advance student success and community engagement. To this end, some facilities are held in reserve at various times of the year for the campus community. Our venues include the Ira Aldridge Theater, Al Freeman, Jr. Environmental Theatre Space, Recital Hall, Gallery of Art, Fine Arts Workshop/Sculpture Studio, several lecture halls, practice rooms and more.
