Join us for the 2024 Senior Showcase featuring acting and musical theatre students receiving their Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from the Howard University Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts’ Department of Theatre Arts!
The showcase features 17 Acting and 8 Musical Theatre talents. Visit the HU website to see headshots, resumes and reels for the graduates. Scan the QR code or click the link here to reserve tickets to either showcase presentation. Industry professionals are welcome and free to contact the performers for an audition or a meeting. Initial meetings often lead to fruitful collaborations, dynamic opportunities and long term mentorship. Howard University’s Department of Art and Gallery of Art announce the opening of the 53rd Annual Arts Faculty Exhibition
March 1 to April 12, 2024
(Washington, DC) — Howard University’s Department of Art and Gallery of Art are proud to present the 53rd Annual Arts Faculty Exhibition, an art exhibition featuring the works of Faculty of the Department of Art from the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts.
The exhibition will showcase works of Faculty from the Department of Art that will be on display from March 1 to April 12, 2024, at the Howard University Gallery of Art.
The 53rd Annual Arts Faculty Exhibition is curated by Professor Maria Fenton, Professor Carol Ann Dyson, and Dr. Raimi Gbadamosi, all of the Department of Art, Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts at Howard University, Washington DC.
The opening reception for the faculty art exhibition will take place on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Howard University Gallery of Art, located at Howard University’s Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts, 2455 6th Street, NW, Washington, DC, 20059.

The Howard University Gallery of Art was established in 1928 by the action of the Board of Trustees in response to an offer of funds made by a philanthropic couple of Washington, D.C. By 1941, the name of the gallery changed to Art Gallery when it was moved to the East Wing of the Founders Library. From the early days to the present, the Howard University Gallery of Art has engaged in art collecting, preservation, and conservation at Howard University.
