Presenting the BFA Acting and BFA Musical Theatre Seniors
From Student to Professional
In the culminating performance of the Spring semester, Howard University Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts Department of Theatre Arts presents a showcase featuring the talents of graduating seniors who have majored in acting and musical theatre. The Howard BFA Showcase returns to NYC and Washington, DC for a program that features our students in a celebratory final performance of their undergraduate studies and is vital to launching their post-academic careers.
These artists/scholars featured in the showcase have spent four years training to meet the demands of the arts and culture sector. The showcase provides them the opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities while introducing them to industry professionals, and is, for many, the beginning of successful professional performance careers on stage, in television and in film.
Industry professionals (i.e., agents, managers, casting directors, producers, musical directors) are free to contact the actors for an audition, Interview or a meeting. Initial meetings often lead to fruitful partnerships, auditions, dynamic collaborations, and even long-term mentorship. Please join the Department of Theatre Arts and the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts in celebrating our extraordinary graduates and thank you for your support.
