Kyrian Batiste Wins Indigo Design Award 2019

Graphic design major, Kyrian Batiste, from Howard University’s Department of Art received a Bronze Award at the annual Indigo Design Awards in April 2019 for his design for Perception magazine.

The international competition of exceptional projects that shine with an uncommon artistry and a fresh new take on design inspired composition and layout is judged by a jury handpicked for their innovative contributions in the digital design world. The Award Ceremony is held annually in the world’s most fascinating and cutting-edge cities. As an award-winner, Kyrian will attend this year’s ceremony and cocktail reception in Málaga, Spain at the Museo Picasso Málaga on May 23.

Kyrian is a graphic designer from Houston, TX and interned this spring semester as a designer with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation in Washington, DC.
