Howard University has discontinued its offering of the Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History as of June 30, 2021. The University continues to offer Art History courses to support:

The remaining Art History degree candidates (majors and minors) to complete their degrees by 2025;
The Department of Art's Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts degree programs; and,
Divisional Humanities offerings to the rest of the University.

The Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts has announced its AY26–27 building hours, temporary satellite locations, shuttle access, and updated student practice-room availability. The announcement includes operating schedules for Lulu Vere Childers Hall, Oddfellows Building, the Fine Arts Workshop/Sculpture Studio, and temporary locations supporting Dance, Music, and Bands during ongoing renovations.
